This year we want to broaden the ways you receive information and are starting new initiatives. These are all the avenues you can get information:

Weekly articles - The weekly articles will come out every Wednesday with overall updates and upcoming events. This will come out on the site.

ASL Chats - A new short weekly video update on results with interviews, highlights and events.

Monthly magazine - An esports focused magazine with articles, interviews, tech and game updates. If you would like to have YOUR journalism showcased please submit pieces to schools@acgl.gg

Gameplay - Our esports show on DSTV Channel 216 returns with season 2.

While we have no ASL results to report on yet we have been busy visiting schools to amplify the hype of esports this year. One of the stand out events was Wynberg Boys High School Orientation where all the grade 8s had a gaming session with their Matric mentors. Check out the ASL update and video here:

This year one of our focuses is to highlight gamers across South Africa. No Focus Gaming is currently running an EAFC competition for students in Soweto. The semi-final matches can be watched here and here. Congratulations to the winners that will be moving onto the Finals this week.

Good luck for 2025!
