Welcome back from holiday! The Nitro ASL esports league, brought to you by ACER and North-West University, is readying up for an exciting Term 2. Let's get to it.

This is your reminder that sign ups for all tournaments close on Friday the 17th of April. After registration closes teams and players will be seeded into divisions based on Term 1 results. Be sure to get your registrations and subscriptions ready in time. For assistance please email [email protected]. 

We were at Hoërskool Bellville last weekend with their MP Sports Festival. Westerford High School won the EAFC competition. CURRO Durbanville High School won Rocket League (3v3). Brawl Stars was won by a Settlers and Bellville mixed team. Settlers High School won Brawlhalla. Bishops won Clash Royale. Full results can be found here and pictures can be found here.

CURRO Cape Town LAN

The CURRO Cape Town LAN is open to primary schools and high schools in the region. The event will take place at CURRO Durbanville Primary School on the 8th and 9th of May. The following titles will be played: 

Overwatch, Rocket League,Minecraft Education PVP, Valorant, Dota, Brawlhalla and Minecraft Build Battles. For more information follow this link. To sign up directly follow this link. Registrations close on the 17th of April.

Centennial Schools Festival

If you are not in Cape Town check out Centennial School's esports tournament being hosted the same weekend. This is open to all under 18's. The following titles will be played: Minecraft, Valorant, Rocket League, Fortnite and NBA. For information email [email protected].

Invites to AGC will be sent out this week directly to schools. All information for that will be attached with a sperate article being created solely for the event.
