NITRO ASL WEEK 4 Recap

Welcome to the end of NITRO ASL. Final results need to be in by the 16 of March (Sunday).

This week's interview is with Ian Pakoe, Sports Radio Presenter for Voice of the Cape in Cape Town. He gave us a fantastic overview of what it's like as a radio presenter and explaiend the cross-section of gaming and live radio.

Updates:

Sign ups for Term 2 Open on Friday the 14th March. After sign ups close we will divide teams into different divisions based on their results in 1st term.

Events:

Hoërskool Bellville has upgraded and installed 10 functional gaming PCs in their computer lab. It’s an awesome milestone for them just ahead of their sports day competition (more on that later).

We also went to UCT Orientation Week to spend some time with their esports club. We provided equipment and chatted to some of their potential members. We also interviewed one of their committee members. For that interview be sure to check out ASL Chats above.

Upcoming events:

Finally it's time for the CURRO Gauteng LAN. Sign ups have been extended to the 14th of March.

Games featured include: Minecraft 5v5 PvP, Dota 2, Rocket League 3v3, Overwatch 2 and Valorant. For more information please see the event page.

Hoërskool Bellville is hosting their MP Sports Day Esports Tournament on the 12th of April.

They will be playing EAFC, Brawl Stars, Clash Royale, Rocket League and Brawlhalla.
