NITRO ASL Term 3 Fixtures

With The African Gaming Championship and Term 2 holidays we have your South African Winter has been full of excitement. Term 3 is on and we are back with more NITRO ASL Esports Action.

Full results, including our North-West University bursary winners will be released later this week.

Term 3 at NITRO ASL is our off-season while we prepare for titles for 2027. In this regard all games are one day cups and not leagues. Cups will run for three weeks starting on the 11th of August until the 26th.

Fortnite will consist of solos on Wednesday at 16:00. There will also be a teacher's only Fortnite No Build Solos we are dubbing "my teacher could beat your teacher at Fortnite" to end off the year. Date to be announced.

Brawl Stars and League of Legends saw the lowest sign ups this year. As a last attempt we are offering a cup for each game. If sign ups do not pass 8 teams per title they will be dropped from NITRO ASL in 2027. League of Legends will be ARAM Mayhem for a change of pace with Brawl Stars remaining the standard game mode and rules.

We will also be trialling new game, EAFC Mobile. If we pass 16 sign ups we will consider bringing it into rotation for 2027.

We also have the CURRO Esports League kicking off - which will end at the CURRO National LAN in Gauteng. The LAN will take place from the 28th of September until the 1st of October.

Other events include the MTN Shift Finals at Canal Walk in Cape Town from the 26th until the 30th of August. More information on this event will be released soon.
